DON"T FROG THAT SWEATER!!! Take it to your LYS there may be a solution or,,,what size is your mom and when is her birthday? Love your podcast. Listen, I don't spin and brought a lot of Icelandic roving when I moved from Iceland last year, would you like it to practice spinning with? I am Camarra on Ravelry

I'm finally getting a change to catch up on my podcast listening and heard your Quickie episode. All I can say is I feel your pain. I've learned through too many garments ending up unexpectedly large or small to take the time to not only knit the gauge swatch, but to wash it too. I've had some huge changes in gauge after washing. This doesn't really help you now, I know, but at least you've learned something for the future.
