Stitch It!! Episode 2
Download this episode (38 min)
Yeah! Episode 2!!!
Thank you Sharon aka She-Knits for giving me a shout out! You are da bomb!!!
EDITED TO ADD:
I mis-spoke and said that the store that had the "Dude Night" sale was Have Ewe Any Wool. It was actually Wool & Company in Geneva. I'm terribly sorry Wool & Co. that was all your idea!
I talk a bit about my Christmas and The Legend of the Sick Curse!
Christmas knitting is all done! Well, except for one...but it will be done this weekend.
How about joining me on my quest for the 2008 Christmas buildup? What do you think? Leave me a comment, get your calender, and we'll see! If I can get other people to join me on this quest, i will set up a blog for us and everything! (Can you hear me trying to sell myself on this project? hahaha) It'll be our version of the Knitpicks Elizabeth's Year Group!!!
Here's the pattern for the Warping Board Guide from Scout's Swag. I'm still hunting for that dang camera, so i'll try to post pictures of mine ASAP!
I talk about about my first spinning adventures, and sharing my new talents with my husband's new hobby.
Anybody know of a good place to find local spinning guilds? that would be the bee's knees if you could share that with me!
I also talk about my love of Lord of the Rings, and how hot Strider is(see photo above). I'll give you a moment....mmmmmmm...
On the needles:
-belated christmas gift wrist warmers
-Calorimetry
-EZ's Tomten for Owen
-Thrummed Mittens
-Goodies for Cousin's Baby
-Creating pattern for a new purse
I gush for about 5 minutes for my love of Vinegar and all it's uses.
My super too long book review this week is of 101 Designer One Skein Wonders. I promise to shorten that up next week!
iTunes is still not showing my podcast in the search engine (the iTune gnomes must be on vacation or something) but you can subscribe to my podcast through iTunes by clicking right HERE.

I LOVE your podcast Meg! Who knew you had such a "radio voice". ;o)
/Yenni
I just listened to your first two episodes while having my annual New Year junk drawer cleanout. I enjoyed it very much- keep it up!
thanks nancy! i love hearing about people cleaning while listening to podcasts, because i do that ALL the time! gives me something else to think about instead of "gosh, we're such pigs!" hahaha
I've enjoyed your podcast, too. Especially liked your list of how to enjoy Christmas. I stopped going to malls about 30 years ago.(I'm old; I admit it; I love listening to podcasts while I knit; I am not prejudiced against young people and so-called "bad" language; my generation started the horrible trend of using "bad" language.) That's a digression. It was easier when I didn't live in the midwest to shop at interesting little stores and boutiques. Seems like the Mall-Warts and M-Karts have driven them out of business in these parts. I love Christmas, whether I'm broke or have a few extra bucks.
I hope you enjoy putting out your podcast over the next ???? months (and years, we hope). Wishing you peace, joy, and love in the coming year.
Great podcast!Found you through Ravelry.
And you have just converted me to vinegar for cleaning.
Best wishes for the New Year.
Julie from Australia
Milla-
Thank you so much for your comment! i really appreciate it! i try my best not to use any colorful language, but sometimes they sneak through. probably because i cuss like a sailor normally! especially while knitting or spinning!!! hahaha.
i'm going to try to keep it up! happy new year to you too!!
Julie-
YES another vinegar convert! it really does make life a LOT easier when you don't have to think "what do i use?" and "what about the baby/cats/dog?!"
happy new year!
I just wanted to say I LOVE YOUR podcast. I just listen to the first episode and a half so far and wanted to let you know that it's great!! I have family in Chicago and you definitly have a little accent. :) Which is cool. Reminds me of them. GREAT JOB!!

Hi Meghan! I really enjoyed listening to your second podcast episode. You did a great job! I love that you talked about Vinegar and all it's wonderful uses.

Meghan I love your podcast. I'm a huge vinegar fan too :) Do you ever add essential oils to your vinegar when you clean? Smells nice and boots the germ fighting power of the vinegar too. If you mentioned essential oils during your vinegar tribute I apologize. I didn't catch every word because I was baking cookies and sometimes the mixer was louder than your super podcast voice :)
